و بدون المزيد من المقدمات أقدم لكم how to pith & dissect a frog

a- Pithing: Damaging the nerve system NS
Before Dissecting the from we need to PITH it

1st step:Blow the frog's head with a heavy object (Don't use chemicals in order not to harm the frog's internat organs) a

2nd Step: Use your needle (in dissecting set ) to enter the (OCCIPITO-VERTABRAL GROOVE located: behind the eyes on the median plane and feels like a deppression) at an angle in order to destroy the spinal cord and brain, and move in circular motion

P.S in order to make sure your frog is completley pithed>>> check its Corneal reflex by touching the frog's eye>>>if frog does NOT blink then the brain is damaged
if the legs dont move >>> this means the spinal cord is damaged
and now you are ready for dissecting

Benifits of Pithing: the frog wont feel pain, and it cannot move during dissection
